Who is this guy?

Houston Bolles is a rarity in Portland these days, a native Oregonian who grew up playing guitar and singing in Portland venues.  He fell in love with live music when he attended Lincoln High School, and managed to convince school staff to hire legendary Portland bands for dances, including Billy Rancher and the Unreal Gods, The Odds, Theatre of Sheep, The Confidentials, Upepo, and The Pipsqueaks, largely unsung rock heroes from the early 80s.  These days, he writes rock n roll songs.

These are a couple of new songs:

Homeless
Wimpy

Here are some of his original songs:
The Specialist Album

Here are links to three albums he has helped produce, played guitar, and sung on:

Houston is currently looking for bookings in the Portland area for his band The New Harsh Lads.   His focus these days is on original music.  He also plays music for parties, including a large repertoire of rock and reggae songs.
